Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has launched the One Time Registration (OTR) system effective from 31st July 2025. This OTR process is compulsory and free for all candidates wishing to apply for any upcoming UP Police recruitment, including Constable, Sub Inspector (Daroga), Computer Operator, and other posts. - In the OTR, candidates create a permanent online profile on the UPPRPB portal by submitting personal, educational, and identity details along with scanned documents.
- Once registered, candidates receive a unique registration number, which can be used to apply for future UP Police recruitments without re-entering their information.
- The OTR streamlines and fast-tracks the application process, increases data accuracy, and eliminates the need to upload documents repeatedly.
- The OTR is mandatory for all future applications and will be required for every post-related notification published by UPPRPB.
- More than 2.5 lakh candidates have already registered under this new system.
After successful OTR registration, candidates are eligible to directly apply for vacancies as and when the notification is released, making the recruitment process easier, quicker, and more transparent.
